What is his age? The reason I ask is because some companies mininum age is 21 or 22 or 23.
He should be submitting applications right now; don't wait until graduation. Websites should have applications to submit online.
Get all the endorsements; all of them! Even refrigerated and dry van companies need tanker endorsement because they sometimes haul huge plastic liquid totes full of liquid.
All the below hire new cdl grads, so ignore any "experience required" on websites.

Thanks to @Chinatown for the helpful response. See, I knew I was gonna get a lot of #### for posting this, it's ok I don't mind. Just trying to help the kid get a list together. He has started putting in some apps already but I figured this forum would be helpful. Thank you to the people who understand!

Stay away from those Dollar General accounts some companies have and cdl schools push. He can kill a trucking career real fast bumping into cars in Dollar General parking lots; it happens every day.
