There are so many different parameters to making miles, those old school dudes can tell you, 1200 miles in the South is much better and easier than 1200 miles running through the North East, you are going to get more miles for that week in the South, but the main component in this equation is the company you are driving for, if they have the clientele to keep you rolling and or where are their trucks governed at..
For instance Prime at 58 mph v/s VSS at 80...who is going to have the most miles at the end of the week....another thing my personal quote "Night time is the Right time" less obstacles.
