Whenever my truck goes in for service, the company mechanics go through my personal belongings. It's far too consistent to be random acts of individuals. It doesn't matter which terminal it is. Things I've noticed: medications, bags. I think the company is looking for illegal drugs. Does anyone else have this experience?

It's company policy for multi terminal carriers. You signed the paperwork to be subject for search on company property. For drugs and weapons.

TMC used to do it. Maybe still do. But they told you in orientation to expect it.

Travel light, take your stuff when you leave the truck for any time at terminals / shops etc etc
