    Last load I had...

77000 gross with 11400 on the steers.

I’m currently in the ballpark of 17 chains (I’m a hoarder leave me alone), plus 17 binders. Five tarps. I picked up an extra tarp recently... I may have a problem. That alone is gonna be some weight before we even start considering the coil equipment, all the padding and edge protectors, all my dunnage and v-boards...

    #### I got a lotta crap I could toss.

When you work for a mega flatbed outfit that expects you to haul anything and everything... you stock pile #### on the off chance you’ll end up needing it.

I’ve been here a year. I’ve used my 8’ v boards on three loads. Why do I keep them? Because the second I toss them I’ll get a load the following day where I need them. Now I gotta spend 50 bucks on supplies and waste what could equal two hours of my time to make them...

As long as I can scale out 42k. I carry what I need to make my life easier. I’m a lazy #### that would give Ruthless a run for his money...

Efficiency is key to the money here.

If I had a dedicated lane and customer base... anything I don’t need would be gone by tomorrow morning.

    Okay. But I’m lazy...

Maybe, that’s the wrong word but I’ll find anything I can to save myself even five minutes of time out here. I won’t shortcut the DOT requirements... but I’ll stretch what I got to make things easier...

I want to pick up a short maybe 5’ tarp with 8’ drops and a flap. Doubt that crap exists... too many times I’m stuck between two tarps or one tarp and grabbing some smaller pieces for the front and the back... PITA it can be.
