SANTA FE SPRINGS - In a city where small companies produce thousands of different products each day, there's a great big trucking company to take those products all over the United States.
Con-way Freight on Wednesday celebrated 25 years of consolidating and shipping small loads.

"We're an industrial city, and it's always good to have a hauler to move goods from place to place," Santa Fe Springs Mayor Gus Velasco said. "We're proud of Con-way. We hope they are here another 25 years." The company specializes in shipping small loads that don't fill up a whole cargo trailer. The loads are consolidated by Con-way workers at the Santa Fe Springs center and quickly sent out to another hub, where they are separated and delivered to their final destinations.
