Con-Way Truckload Drivers: What's Your 20? (2014 edition)

Had Steak and Shake last night when we were in Lockport, actually it was Romeoville, DO NOT stay at the Motel 6 there, I think I would have been more comfortable sleeping on the floor, the rooms are really nice but the bed are VERY hard and the floors are all hardwood, last night had to go up to the front counter and ask the night clerk and security guard to quite down because I could hear them 8 rooms down laughing at 2am. Gonna see what FM says in the morning and also see how long it's looking on our 1st truck, if it will be done for sure on Monday then I'd rather just sit here and get breakdown pay and not have to worry about unloading the truck and then reloading it in a new truck. Guess we'll see in the morning

 

Midnight live unload! 8° here in Upper Sandusky gonna spend the night at Walmart. Sooooo tired :/

Well stay at the hotel is over (I hope) hubby is picking up a van from the airport and we will be heading down to Pocahontas to grab a truck down there, the truck has already been checked out, detailed and ready to go, now I'm hoping that our FM can get us a decent load for either tonight or in the morning, really needing a few mile to make next week check decent

 

I'd love this job if it weren't for the massive amount of traffic. Trying to drive at night only isn't enough either. Seriously thinking about switching to Con-Way Freight or a company that only runs the Western 11
