When I first subscribed, the first activation of the truck's radio failed because Sirius XM sent the signal to my home billiing zip code. I had to have them retry using the zip code of my current location, a zillion miles from home, as usual.

REEFERman450 Thanks this.

I don't know why we have to continue to guess here. Based on where he says the antenna is, it's no mystery. Does channel 1 work or not? Geez.
If it does then you have an activation problem if it does not, then you have an antenna placement or workability problem. I'm out.AModelCat Thanks this. -

It may be as simple as a weak or blocked signal at the time the refresh signal was sent. With that antenna placement, setting any direction but the exact right way will seriously downgrade the quality of signal. I figured out real quick how important antenna placement is while trying to install a system on a cascadia. Any little bit of cab in the way and you are out of luck. And the factory puck style antenna is about worthless anyway. Gotta get one of them tall truck antennas like T/A sells. Put the top of it a little higher than anything else on the cab and you should be fine, as far as antenna issues go.

After I saw that the OP couldn't understand the question "does channel 1 work or not" it was clear he wasn't able to be helped...

Turns out that neither diagnosis where correct a radio replacement solved the issue. Fast forward to present day, in a new truck, with a new radio and all works fine.

They don’t use 1-3 anymore except for specials.
Put on Willies place and forget it. -
