    Some leave New England altogether and head south(Florida,Georgia,the Carolinas).

    it's only a matter of time, that many more states initiate tolling. but fairly tolling everyone and not discriminating against truckers like RI is. sooner or later, the state of RI will eventually toll everyone. it's inevitable once the state tally's up the yearly toll collections of trucks only.

    but here is the rub, unless the toll monies collected by and state law and those monies GO INTO the road funding, then many states will simply scoop up those monies for pet projects of the politicians special interests.

    frankly, i do not see any trucking organization to defeat the tolling of any state. as it has failed thus far in RI.

    I’ve always said that if you’re going to institute a tolling program for infrastructure repairs, then you toll everybody that uses those roads, not just single out truck drivers,like Rhode Island is doing!

    I quit going north of 80 in new England a long time ago so toll it to death for all I care .
    They dont make anything there anymore .
