Hah. Nah, they probably had one pallet in each trailer. I had 1300 cases of alcohol in the back, and a Volvo with a Cummins natural gas engine.

Considering he's shooting for an OR in the 70's, he's not going to outsource much. Amazon is not interested in ltl. They are small package.

I own my Freightliner, lease to them, and I saw in Des Moines that they have a bunch of vinyl stickers to apply over the Con-way brand. Actually, I prefer those stickers since I just painted my truck, but I don't have them yet because I hate going to the main terminal in Joplin. Inspection Nazis, and way too much corporate observation and rule making/obeying.Mike2633 Thanks this. -
I would think it's unrealistic to think amazon and their drones will topple the ltl world. What is really going to kill driving jobs is autonomous trucks. Mark my words in 20-30 years the landscape may look VERY differentskinnytrucker Thanks this. -
Found this picture 2009 Ford for CWX still on the road I would have figured by 2009 most Ford Aeromax tractors would have been in the city if not sold off to small time outfits cool picture.

There's been a lot of speculation about XPO selling off the Truckload division. I've noticed more and more former Con-way Truckload sleepers pulling XPO Logistics branded vans lately, so I'm starting to think that they are committed to keeping it.

Eww eww eww I saw my first XPO branded LTL tractor yesterday. Just to tell everyone LOL!
Pintlehook and Bob Dobalina Thank this.
