Staff Report
DAYTON
Several crashes on Interstate 75 Tuesday morning have caused traffic delays.
Around 6:15 a.m., a semi-tractor trailer was traveling northbound in the far right lane when the driver lost control as the truck went around a curve, according to officials.
The rear of the trailer began to drift into the center lane, where it grazed another semi and crashed into the outer barrier wall near the Stanley Avenue exit, officials said.
HAZMAT and the Environmental Protection Agency were called to the scene after about 90 gallons of diesel spilled from the truck and into the river. Some of the diesel was recovered, according to officials.
Only one lane of traffic was open for several hours while crews responded. The driver was not injured and was cited with failure to control.

Oh crap, not what you want to see or hear. Fortunately nobody hurt. Looks like weather related.

Not weather related,
Driver related !!!!!drvrtech77 Thanks this. -
Don't know if this was in one of the many work zones, but some of those zones get pretty hairy at times....people trying to go just too fast through them (not implying CW was doing so...just a general comment). Glad the driver is OK.
