Conway Truckload Drivers what is your 20?

Been here 10 years,Ive never driven for Crete so I dont know about them,You live right near a Conway Terminal so thats a plus for parking ,,you would start here at .36cpm other than that not much of a dif between the 2 in my opinion

 

In the shop for the night, so I came to the hotel. had to out of pocket it since they said I could have slept in the truck. No thanks I will relax for the evening and get my dog a bath. Can just imagine trying to sleep with impact wrenches goes scaring the hell out of Cookie.

 

Well Cookie smells like a pina colada compliments of the hotekl shampoo (coconut and lime). I got back to the yard this morning expecting an early roll and they found a couple of other things wrong with the body they are gonna be working on. Hopefully I will be rolling by no later than noon.

 

In ATL at Pilot on 285, just heard about 5 gunshots out back. Pickup in Rome on Monday, headed to Cali.....First time out west since training in May. Looking forward to it. Hope everyone has a great and safe new year.

 

I have spent the night in the truck at Joplin and the mechanic didn't know I was in there til he was moving it out of the shop and I asked if he was done from the sleeper. Spooked him a little. My air has been leaking down also for a few weeks. Both Tanks are on zero when I come off break. With this heavy load they were down to 50# each in just the time it took to catch a shower and a burger here at the Pilot in Flagstaff, Az. Payload of 43500lb of liquid hauled from near Savannah, ga. headed for Bakersfield, ca. FM came thru for me. I was sitting on 6730 miles for December with 3 days to go in the month. Happy and Safe New Year everyone.

 

If your at the Pilot on the South side you are only a few miles from our Freight terminal. I go there in a pinch. No way I ever stop at that Pilot again.

I hear ya. I don't mind freight terminals for one night, but I had to deliver at the cold storage down the street on Friday, and my load out doesn't leave till Monday. That's too long to spend at a Freight yard with no shower. There has been cops here all weekend, and I have seen two backing accidents. They have upped the security here and cleaned it up quite a bit from what I've heard, but it's still a rough area.

 

I finally made it out here for my first Cali trip too. Hanging at the J in Thousand Palms. couldn't have asked for better weather....Houston to Cali ride was nice.
