Ran out of my 14 hrs @ Del Rio Tx and shut down last night about 8 pm in Walmart Supercenter

 

Parked at a rest area about 20 miles west of Vail. Chains required to go any further. Gonna wait til atleast daylight tomorrow. Snow is still coming down steady like it has all day.

Felt the same way about a month ago, never had driven on it either. There was gonna be some heavy snow in Nebraska the same night of my appointment, called Safety Dept, told them about it, they told me to head over there when I felt safe. Showed up the next morning with clear skies after the snow plows did their work, counted three jackknifes and one rollover from the night before on the way to the customer.

It's definitely true that you won't be faulted for shutting down.
