A rest area in SC. Headed for Roanoke. Came off hometime Monday. Orlando to Atlanta. Atlanta to Orlando. DH to Tampa. Tampa to Roanoke.

 

Somewhere between Cincinnati and Columbus Ohio.
Been in rain since Memphis.
Turning into freezing rain.
Only 350 miles to do tomorrow, not pushing my luck.
Beef stew and brown rice for dinner.

Right now I'm on 44 about Chandler. Gonna stop for a lil bit in Joplin tomorrow to go to Walmart and the post office. BTW they really should make service plazas on the turnpike 24/7 or at least leave the bathroom unlocked.

Right now, its lake.effect rain and wind.
By time I get loaded, I'm sure it'll be full blown lake effect snow.

Hopefully can get at least a couple hours down the road after loading.
Consignee has overnight parking, so will make a run for it, get in late Saturday.
Try to work a 34 in, maybe, if nothing else will have full 11/14.

 

The flip from day driving to nights is the worst.
I got to previous consignee yesterday evening.
They had overnight parking, although I only know that as i called, since there were streets & trips directions, but that's a different issue.
Got in last night, had a good rest, ready to go today.
I could probably get a nap in, but don't want it to early.
It's not bad when have a later in day pick up, but late night, then try to run all night is tough.
Prefer to run as.hard and as far as I can,
I have a built in mental wall, doesn't matter how much sleep, 0300-0500 is always brutal for me.

 

Dog and I could spend the day walking, but weather sucks!
Walking in snow isn't bad, driving in it sucks.
Walking in.the rain sucks, while driving in it isn't bad.
Crap truckstop charges 5 bucks to park, which I get reimbursable for, but they could at least pick up the trash. What a dump, but then again its that 10% that trashes these places.
No real internet, #### hotel behind truckstop WiFi is password protected, lol.
