Hello there fellow trucker's today I was coming out from the customer as you seen on this pic this street is a two way street then I found this driver who left his truck running on this busy road, common sense would tell you that you don't want to block traffic. At first I thought he was closing his doors or maybe in the sleeper cab, I knocked on the window but no response, me and another driver knocked for a while and no response. Furthermore the driver come's out from the warehouse without no regard for other drivers time and taking his sweet time. My point is where's is common sense or courtesy for others drivers.

Thank you for reading my post have a nice day. IMG-20170120-WA0008.jpeg

Common sense, common courtesy, and common decency does not exist in trucking. Trucking is almost like the old saying when I was in the Marines " Semper I, F-- the other guy"

I'm scratching my head at whatever may be going on there, but since you posted this in the LTL section I feel it at least somewhat necessary to point out that LTL guys do have to block a lane of traffic from time to time thanks be to such things as internet shoppers with more money than brains and people running businesses out of their homes.

One must use a bit of good sense in deciding where that may or may not be appropriate.

Considering the congestion in that lot, i wouldn't be surprised to hear that he was actually stuck behind someone. He walked in, the blocker walked out and left, you pull out, think hes the dick. Well he and you are both victims of the guy who is no longer there. Like when a slow 4 wheeler gets on and slows you back, then stomps it. All the people behind you that pass didn't see the reason... your just a big slow dumb truck....

I agree @MACK E-6 as myself I'm a LTL driver and I know better not to block streets especially if they always have traffic coming. Wouldnt you agree that's where common sense and courtesy should kicked in. Plus the driver shown here on the pic he's not a LTL guy he's an otr fella who I would give him the benefit of the doubt didn't know any better.

@street beater as I pulled out from the customer there was nobody behind him or in front of him, the thing here he was not in his truck when I showed up plus there was enough space if he would of bother to drive more forward as he could of pull to the side. I would like to think that he didn't know better.

He may have been looking for the place and asking where they take their deliveries, but that shouldn't take much more than a couple minutes.
