    Yeah! see what you mean. But I dont thank that kind of action funny. But I'm glad the they busted him and hope they keep him away for me and my family. Lord help us all. Got to go.

    I know its kind of late you know with 2 weeks going by. But I have been posting on covenant info. The higher above in message trucking forum Had to combined my thread with other in covenant info. I pertty sure its to save space on the servers. Sorry about the late post. But covenant. Its has not been bad at all. Went just starting out in the truck driving industry. I cant start at the top with top pay. Pertty sure some one have somethang to say about that. I only had a idea of what was going to happen. It just turning out to be another job( kind of). But covenant has done every thang up to this point .It said it was going to do. With some help( ok with a lot of help from poeple here on this forum) I made it threw the 3 day orientation. Which was catching the van at the bus station going to the hotel that covenant owns. Which was no better than a motel 6. Two to a room. the guy i had was a rehire, whitch was cool in a heads up kind of way. He just watched a lot of tv. Which I dont care for watching never did. I talked to a lot of truckers there. Some was waiting there truck to be fixed other was waiting on new trucks and those between loads. You can stay for free as employee. Oh there were two that got hurt on the job. They had to stay at the hotel. Covenant made sure they made it to the docs for free and kept them on the pay roll. One was working in pay roll the other the smith systems. There were some there that had to take that class for what ever reason. ticket,crash. Other were there for log class. I guess they cant get it right ( I know what your thanken). Feed you three times a day. Wasnt like mama cooked it. but it was free. There a waffal house a cross the street. Ate there ones and it up set my stomach. The first day is physical,aptitude test, drug screening,road test. All is pass or go home. Really not that hard at all. For me the road test was the worst for me. But I passed. JUst dont hit the curb with the tracter or trailor and dont cross the center line while maintaining your lane and you passed. Nothing else. That has its up and downs as for as safty. But i thought thats where the trainer come in. right tell you later. Day two is for those who did not pass the road test the first time it do or go home time. Other had to finished with personal that goes over your paper work. Them watching videos. Paper work just fill in the blank not hard at all. Day three for me a short day was all finished. We went over how logs should be done. hazmat. Per paid lawers. insurance, And just how to be safe. The fourth day about noon i was on the truck. I bob tailed to get a trailor(empty). from chatt, tn to knots, tn small load to memphis,tn got a load there and drove it all the way to baker,cal got a load there and drove it all the way back to raymond,nh drove a empty to free port ,ma got a load and drove it to colonial hts,va. picked up a load there drove it to whitehall,oh picked up or repowere a load in white hall and drove it to greer,sc stop one. than to atlanta,ga. 2nd stop. picked up there and drove all the way to greenwood, in. then turned around and ran down to montgomery, al then home to pensacola,fl. Which I did most of the driving but I was told that all ready and have no problem with it. It is the job anyway. Do all the fueling window washing mirrors. Cleaning of the trash out fo the cab of the truck. No big deal its part of the job. But this is where the problems start with the trainer. First off the bat. He spoke broken engish, Which I could not understand. As I could not understand him i would do what i thank he said or just asked again which made him upset at me. I have told him many times i dont understand him. My first run out was at night while he was in the back sleeping. Now he would say he not sleeping but I would try to talk to him . thats right he would be a sleep. So i drove as careful as i could. When and if he drove it would be only two hours. and only at day time. never at night. There was one time that where I drove about 9 hours and we both sleep a good 4 hours waiting on a load which messed the sleeping on and off to drive . now he drove first. Now he drove crazy hard lefts and rights. and shifting very poorly jerking the truck up and down hills and just talking loud on the phone in spainsh. Which I new it was going to be my time to drive but could not sleep at all. Sometimes i would be all most asleep and he'll turn up the radio or the phone thang again. When he only drove two hours i told him i still need to sleep. he got mad tried to tell me he been driving for 8 hours.( I must look stupid). But I told him im not driving he got mad threw his logs at the window. Started yelling in spainish. I got up and asked him what or if he was mad. He said I need to sleep when its my time to sleep so i can drive. What I cant sleep in a truck jumping every where. I told him to drive the truck and stop jerking it around and ill sleep. I dont know what he was doing but he wasnt driving. There was a nother time where we repowered a load i drove there 500 miles and waited on the repower to show. I fell a sleep for two hour when he showed up and he yelled out time to go I got out and unhooked and then rehook to the repower. WE drove and droped it off about 200 miles. Then next load pulled a empty to shipper for next load. Now the shipper said the load was not to be ready until 500am. and had to go to the pilot so He drove there to the pilot and said he will drive first and we could take a shower. So i did take a shower, washed some clothes and ate. I was back at the truck finishing a phone call when he jump in and time to go you ready to drive. I said no. HE started raisening his voice what you mean you not ready. I said you said you drive first. He said I will not tell him when to drive he will tell me when to drive. I said i need sleep. you said the load will not be ready untill 500am/ and its only 1145 pm. He said no the load ready and im to drive. He allready planed the trip for me to drive first. I tried to tell him i been driving all nite and all morning and we stoped for showers and ate and now i go to sleep. He was yelling saying Ive been off duty for 10 hours and im driving. I said if i knew i was driving now. i would have slept insted of taking a shower. He said thats my problem, that he is not by team drive and he does not have to any thang. He'll get on the qc and tell them im not doing my job and ill be threw. Now he just threaten my job to be taken from my family. Because he some kind of trainer and he can do this. So this piss me off.Now i'm raisen my voice over his. and I tell him to call who ever he needs to call im not driving and he cant make me. Im not killing anyone because you say so buddy. callen, callen now tell them i want off this truck now. Then i'll call safty det, and tell them what you are doing buddy. we are standing face to face and the truck. He starts banging the qc on the dash. and then jumps in the driver set and starts driving like a fool again. When we get to the shipper the guard stops him at the gate and tell him he cant get in until they tell him that the load is ready for us to pick it up. He asked when will that be. The guard picks up the phone then tells him 500am. He already knew this. Quess what there time to sleep. man. The next day when we pick up the load, i said i'll drive . he said no hes driving. but he only drove two hours then i drove the rest. I call covenant for a new trainer on home time12/23 but it didnt sound to good the guy said he knows the trainer and hes a great guy.(right off to a great start.)I tell him thr trainer speaks broken engish and we are getting up set trying to understand one another. He saids i dont know thats got to do with ant thang. but on the 12/24 he screwed up my pay roll and made covenant pretty upset at him. So im hoping on a new trainer my monday. But all and all covenant is not that bad. Now its only 13 cents a mile which is the bottom but my first pay check was $800.00. Not bad for a trainee. Ill get my set time and then move on to the big money or at least 32 cents a mile. got to go see ya later

    No doubt. Look's like one big run on sentence. As for that driver, I would stomp his ### till nothing was left. I'm now fully turned off to Covenant with this and all the other BS I've been reading about them.
