I'm new to the S Corp game, and I'm trying to get my accounting in order. I've talked to a few firms and the going rate is around $2500/year to handle everything including payroll. Is that in the ballpark with what everybody else is paying?
Lastly, does anybody have any experience with 1800-Accounting? As of right now they're the most competitive with what they offer for the price. Thanks!
CPA recommendations for S Corp filers. What do you pay?

Super high. I’d recommend keeping records as you go so you can do it yourself. Quickbooks works great for me.

Some will say $2500 to do everything book keeping, taxes, payroll, etc.. is to much.
However to me to keep me out of trouble with the IRS. Not have to deal with book keeping or payroll is well worth it.
$2500 is $625 a quarter $208.34 a month $48.08 a week $6.84 a day. Less than a pack of smokes a day about the same as a coffee and bagel.JonJon78 Thanks this. -
I strongly recommend WindhamFinancial out of Birmingham. Less than half the price posted above and outstanding service.
