CPAP Cotton Mouth???

Hey all...Short time reader, first time threader (I know, I know: shut up already right?).

I've found that whenever I use my CPAP (with distilled water), more often than not, I wake up with a mouth dryer than the Sahara.
Is this a normal thing, or is it something I'm doing wrong/wrong with me?

I use a Phillips model (can't remember type exactly), and there's a "fill to" line thing in the water reservoir, and that's what I always fill it to. I've never tried different water because the tech that showed me how to use it said to always use distilled.

 

Ah, ok. Yeah, I'd have to double check because I'm definitely not sure. I'd hope so for $700, but you never know...

 

Yeah, I'm definitely a mouth breather at night I'm sure, especially with my constant sinus and allergy issues year round. And yeah, I'm pretty sure mine has that.
