$15.00 an hour and living in SO.Cal? is this englands idea of a joke?

 

Sadly, that's pretty standard in that area. When I first moved out there I couldn't believe how low pay was for most blue collar jobs even outside of trucking. You'll see local driving jobs there posted for $10-12/hr quite a bit. Pretty obvious why this is.

 

From my own experience, England is NOT a good company to work for. Poor training & and empty promises. Got paid so little during training that I had to supplement my income with unemployment. Needless to say, I moved on to a better company.

 

Atleast that yard dog will always have a positive paycheck unlike their lease operators.

 

Sounds like a janitor job.

 

Weird, the Big Officer here in SLC has been hiring office staff like crazy. Just about every position you can think of. I was actually going to go apply to be a classroom instructor. I think that would be alot of fun and I love to teach.
