    I really appreciated all the responses. Some very good information. Yes the proposal seemed kind of sketchy. I countered at $30 an hour from time I arrive at yard to time I leave yard to return home (this is not over night hauling, local), 1.5 hourly after 40. No response. Oh Well!

    They emailed back and are considering it. Apparently he is not the owner of the trucks, kind of an investor. He does run some unrelated company that I verified and for whatever reason is getting his CDL.
