If you've ever played Red Alert 2, you are no doubt familiar with the Crazy Ivan character.
That's who this axe-wielding maniac reminds of being that his first name is Ivan.
Sure wish the government would stop importing crazies from around the world.fromAtoZ, snowlauncher, mjd4277 and 3 others Thank this. -
He should have had tread marks where he use to have dimples….

If Crazy Ivan continues his brake checking and axe-weilding ways, he's definitely going to catch some lead sooner or later.Bud A., fromAtoZ, broke down plumber and 7 others Thank this.

Just saying. My CCW is valid in IN. You come towards me with an axe, especially my door after showing your willing to use the weapon. Your either getting run over, or if for whatever reason that is not viable then getting a high speed lead injection then and there.

The Volkswagen driver “did not speak English and was uncooperative,” according to Trooper Rosillo. He was later identified as Ivan Savych, 29, from New Jersey.

I'd like to know what he was doing in Hammond/Gary, Indiana and driving a car with Illinois plates.broke down plumber, TheLoadOut, Sons Hero and 2 others Thank this.

He was probably passing through. Although some residents in that neck of the woods try to keep their Illinois plates on their vehicles even though they live in Northwest Indiana.
The City of Hammond has been cracking down on that though.
Unlike Indiana,Illinois doesn’t charge an excise tax on vehicles. And in Illinois they charge a flat rate for vehicle registration. When I was living there the Secretary of State in Springfield charged $75 annually for regular passenger vehicles. All you had to worry about was emissions testing, which was done every 2 years, depending on the model year of the vehicle.Last edited: Sep 14, 2026
