Tuckler reshape those photos as the bandwidth is too large to handle them. Also whats with the wiring on the right side by the glove box?

I'm not sure how to reshape a photo, I'm surprised they even posted.
The wiring goes to my radio, gps and cb for now. I'm running it all off the cigarette lighter on the dash. My Connex needs more voltage and as soon as I find a source,it will be rerouted and the other wires cleaned up.

    The Challenger Thanks this.

As a Hoosier, I'm glad we're getting some of your money. Our govenor Mitch has really bankrupted the state and won't admit it. I hope you used an Indianan lawyer as well.

Do you get a new truck every time you drop off a student?
I hate switching trucks and am going to try my hardest to keep the miles down on my truck so that I'm in it for a long time. (scarcasism)

Has anyone tried Rand McNally's new gps system for truckers? I had their CD-Roms a few years ago but not all that impressed. The new system sounds nice but is pretty expensive ($500).

For those that are prone to my positive post creeping them out, you may want to avoid this snackbar post.

The following are a list of the things that have been going wrong between Crete and myself recently....:biggrin_25513:

    That's right, NOTHING.

In my almost 6 years here, I have never had a month go so smooth!! I don't know if it was my latest 'badboy' rant with dispatch (that go me wrote up) or just the fact that business is picking up, but I've only had a few hiccups, and they were problems at shippers, not in any way accredited to op's, and were solved quickly and easily. The 1st was when I was in Houston last Friday. Delivered to the NW corner in the morning, headed to the South side for my next pickup, weighed it, 81600 lbs. Told to head back, shipper refused to cut order and said I had to haul it...until I brought to his attention the fact that he counted 26 pallets, the B/L only shows 24. Which drew a 'under his breath' curse of the guy who loaded it, because now he had to figure out which of the half dozen or so different products had too many pallets. But to my dismay(actually had good luck at this point) it was the last product loaded. Then the next load, out of Jenks, showed already shipped and gone...Turned out that my B/L accidentally got in with another company's B/L and when they 'closed' the order, they just pulled the last page(which was ours) and scanned it. He got his load, his trailer, his bills, and our bills. Once I found the trailer that it was loaded on, they reprinted and I rolled...I don't know how much fun it was going to be on their end to fix, but my end was solved quickly and easily. Now after 3.5 weeks out, I decided to head home...and Viola, a load out of SC to Lakeland then home 3 days early, unless they need something moved out of central FL. I left 9/3, should be home 9/30(unless I'm needed to move a load out of the state) and will have amassed 11184 in 28 days. So far, my best month of the year. I've even gotten multiple load offers a couple of times. Both were 1 short run, 1 long run, but multiple choice none the less...Sweet.

Since my last post while I was on a 34 - between that Monday(when the q/comm resets it's mileage reading) and last Sunday night when I shut down, my q/comm mileage reading was just under 3400 miles.:biggrin_2556:. Easily my best 7 day run in quite a while.

I don't know about everyone else, but this new dispatch system seems to make things flow much better for me. I did talk to a mid-south driver a week or two ago, who said just the opposite. He said he's been sitting more lately than before, but he said he had gotten use to seeing 'preplanned' loads on the old system, but once the new system had been running, hasn't seen one.

You 'cornbinder' drivers need to quit bragging and showing us pictures of the inside...it's making me want to ditch my 'apu' Century class and get one of those instead....:biggrin_2559:...my wife would shoot me, as much as I talked about, begged, and wished for an APU, and then to give it up for a non-apu truck...She'd have a fit :smt075

The more I see 'em, the more I like 'em.

Hi there evertrucker...I'm an experienced lady driver, but i have been off the road for 17 months. I had vision issues and I had eye surgery in August. Ive got my peripheral vision back! I'm really ready to get back out there but I would feel more comfortable to get back out with a trainer for a while to get reoriented. I had considered Crete a few years ago but I stayed where I was at, because of security and I don't like to hop around much...anyway...I would appreciate your response on this and I think you can get my email from moderators? Thanx
