    And offering the incredible fuel discount of 3 to 6 cents off cash price.... that should be good for another 30 or so cents for every gallon you buy....

    The fuel discount sucks as well. Crst is much larger than my company and should provide at least similar fuel discounts.

    I think any company that offers a low flat rate fuel discount is robbing their owners or lease drivers.

    I get the email at least every quarter from the same guy, I've emailed him back several times telling him to take me off the email list and never get anything back

    So I emailed the guy from crst back asking him why crst keeps 3% of the fsc,f this is his reply

    Dear Sir- Good question. CRST pay a sales force to negotiate fuel surcharge with our customers and has other cost regarding the cost of fuel. The 3% CRST keeps is to help offset those expenses. At the current national average cost of fuel the 3% = about 3/4 of a penny per mile. Most milage programs are keeping 5- 10 % so I believe we are still very competitive in this area. I hope you are having a good day.

    Wow what a joke. Who would consider this garbage? They are really screwing new guys who dont no any better. I have a friend who worked there. Went thru the lease program and bought his truck out. He pulls for landstar now. He says when left a little over a year ago. That he was getting 100% of fsc and the fuel discount was .30-.45 per gallon.
