I just do not understand how this can happen.
Anytime I go under a bridge that looks questionable,I sow to a crawl.

It seems like a GPS is usually involved with crashes like this involving low and/or weight restricted bridges. It's proof that drivers really just need to pay attention to what's in front of us and what the signs say. Here's a media picture of that crash site:
