Keep your feet on the dash and rely on your cruise control. As I said just pray you never find out why cruise control is a bad idea in a truck.

The real concern is guys leaving it on coming into a work zone or congestion.

I've had two steer tire blowouts and I use cruise... it's a non-issue.
