I have researched on this forum to try to find a starting point.5 yrs ago, the driver said the cruise stopped working when TA replaced the in dash valve(yellow and red ).I have started checking everything to playing with the brake pedal to replacing the transmission speed sensor. The only thing I havnt done is checking the continuity on the clutch pedal switch. The air switches under the dash seems right.Anymore dieas for me to check? The cruise switch light is on as usual.Any ideas on trouble shooting?Where is the grown wire?

I would check the brake and clutch pedal switch.

Take the dash apart and check the area around the brake valves, a wire could've been disconnected.

I had a 2000 Freightliner that was doing the same thing (2X)

    Does your high idle work....?
do your Jakes work as they should...?

Good point about checking the brake valve area. You mean the top dash and not the bottom where all the air switches are located?

Also check the "clutch" safety switch

The 2X on my truck it was pIns on the plug going into the ecm

1 pin was for the clutch safety switch (the ecm though I had my foot on the clutch)
2nd time was the pin that told the ecm I had my foot on the brake..
