I don’t have a picture because we just drove through a dirt lot and everything is covered with dust but on inner portion of the left rear drive is getting uneven wear on half of it’s circumference. It’s like a half inch has been shaved down a bit half way around the tire. I just checked pressures and all the drives are at 105 psi. Airbags are inflated and the shock isn’t leaking fluid. The truck has 78,000 miles. What could be causing this?

What?
Super trucker doesn't know what it could be?
Serious midnight, just messing with you.
Shocks don't leak to be bad, the valve within them can wear pretty fast and this can show up on drive and steer wear.
Alignment and balancing are two other factors.
In that 78k, have you had the tires rotated?Midnightrider909 Thanks this. -

First thing you should do with a new truck, get it aligned and have everything checked for proper torque. Yes, they come off the line out of alignment and with lose suspension parts and pieces. You are now an Owner Operator. This is just the beginning.

I use a local tire shop, the kid that does alignments is very good. He also has a torque wrench. That is the kind of shop you need, or a frame alignment shop. I would not trust a dealer.JonJon78 and Midnightrider909 Thank this. -
