    I think it started early here in Maine, as they have been out-in-force for the past week! They held me for about 45 minutes doing a Level 1 check, and it resulted in a Clean Report... and the DOT officer wasn't an arsehole like some of them can be.

    They have been out in force in ND,IA,MT,SD,OR,that's just the state I have been in in the last week. I don't think I have EVER had my permits checks so many time in my life.

    I just got my DOT annual... always do it in May. Shine up your truck so it doesn't look like it's a dumper, and make sure the lights work.
