HireRight/DAC will sell your information to anyone willing to pay them. YOU are the only one that can get your own information from them for free.

 

Why would your insurance company want that information from a Dac report?

 

To see what kind of person you are (or others perceive you to be).....and because they can.

 

Legally, anyone or any company that accesses your DAC or Hire Right report, needs a written authorization signed by you.

No written permission needed for companies that subscribe to HireRight's services to get a DAC Employment History. Sounds like this originates from the same sources that try to say a company cannot give out any information on a former employee other than the dates they worked there.
