I agree they are probably a step up from Swift. But the pay is garbage. No excuse for starting people in the thirties even if their length of haul is good. Some people are happy with them and i guess that's all that really matters.

I made .38 back in the 1990’s don’t know how they hire drivers for that today!
Elg1968 Thanks this. -
heres a thought swift would give me a load 600 miles 3 days to deliver on occasion find a load sooner even if you get .42 cpm that average way runs would be horrible the average drivers I see get low end they say 1000 mile runs with that same time frame. who would you get the check from? are there better companies yes, walmart is my end company I lack the experiance but from some drivers say they love danny herman trucking if that happens what more could a trucker ask for?

$380.00 every 1000 miles, before taxes.. no thank you, I’ll stick to my .57 cpm..

While you might make .57 a mile running 2k a week.. that .38 a mile at Danny herman is really .50 and running 3500+ miles a week.
I’ll go paycheck for paycheck with you -
Get your hazmat. DHT will pay for it and it’s an extra .01 a mile.. think that’s not much? Basically will pay your cellphone bill off that .01.
You’ll haul a few hazmat loads a year
And get paid for every mile you drive. -
