Absolutely, however, this does not change anything about the inspection report the cop turned in.

And the last 3 jobs I've worked for specifically states CSA violations will cost someone thier job. And I seen it happen to one driver (cell phone violation, but no citation. I.e. a warning) get fired.

So yes, a driver can get fired over just CSA points.

I'm not going to debate this with you tonight. I am speaking in general terms and you are trying to get specific. YES, there are carriers that will fire a driver under these circumstances JUST as there are some carriers that won't.

Oh, I missed that part. I did it as a carrier for my driver. Don't even know if it got removed from his record, but it did get removed from my company

You sure can. I hope you get through all of this. I also hope that justice is done. I do think in your case you do need to hire a good attorney!

I mentioned it, but didn't specify it...
Yes, a driver can submit a DataQ request.

Try to get it reduced to less than 15 mph over.

If the right set of circumstances is present it sure can. I was thinking back to a driver I used to know. He had been driving for J B Hunt for close to 30 years when I knew him. He quit about the same time I retired in 2012. He got restless and got a job with a small carrier in Springfield Mo. Somewhere in Kansas about 4 AM he was speeding. The police report said by the length of the skid marks he must have been doing around 90 MPH. He lost control of his truck and ran over a family of 5. He had left Denver, was running a hot logbook, and was in a hurry to get home. Yep, speeding cost him a lot. He was lucky Kansas did not put him in a State Prison. Last I heard he did get his regular license back, but will most likely never drive a CDL-required CMV again.
