Dave's Hunky Style Old Fashioned Vegetable-

1 Large Pot ( Not smoke a lot of pot ) Add about, I dunno between a quart and half gallon water. Half gallon is too much though.
    4 Potatoes
    2 Large turnips
    1 Large parsnip
    3 Large carrots
    1 Large onion
    Half a head of cabbage
    Soup Bones
Half a handful of Italian Parsley ( Minced )
3 Cans stewed tomatoes ( About 6 large beef steak tomatoes can be used from the garden )

Grind in fresh pepper & table salt to season to taste periodically.

Chop it all up. Throw it in the pot. Simmer for like 5 hours.

Even better when served with extra wide egg noodles.

Here’s my supper, mmmm and healthy, I’ve lost a ton of weight cooking most all my meals.

How much weight have you put on since you went to LS?

That looks awesome. I don't know if I would say it's fat free. You are using spices that I am sure have a nutritional information. I'm not trying to rain on the parade but there are a lot of truckers that have or should have serious dietary restrictions etc.

I was married to a RN with a Masters degree in nutrition and she always always said never salt anything, be careful of sauces and spices those are unknown items of nutritional value.

I wonder if you did the chicken in with the veggies no spices added how that would be? You might have to use a little water and olive oil and I know you have to be careful when doing raw chicken with veggies but you get it to 180 degrees your more than safe. Maybe start the chicken with the oil/water for a minute or so then veggies. Again either way it's way better than most food at the Truckstops. Keep up the good work

I'm about the same, which is fairly astonishing. I'm like 220 on a CAT scale or scale at a shippers. But I'm still a pretty big dude. Probably almost 38" waist now. Still get in my 36's easy enough though. I'm definitely at the upper end of my range, I like being around 200, but driving the long shifts, I eat a lot of carbs. Lose some in the spring for sure, something about winter just makes me want gravy on everything, like cereal.

It's giant man. Cook the whole box lol. I had to use my points or lose them. Once you get platinum, they never go away, save them forever, same with showers.
I wanted the middle of the road Cobra drive cam. It was like $160 or $170. So after I fueled in Ft. Bridger, I went in to get it. I had like $182 in points. Well they have it on sale this week for $110!!!! LOL
So I scored both for $183 including tax lol.

    tucker and bzinger Thank this.
