    Hey

Anyone bought an aftermarket Quantity Control Valve for a dd15? Mine needs replacing, and there seems to be alot of Chinese parts out there.

Has anyone got an aftermarket one that has lasted well? Don't want to put in a $100 piece of Chinese crap, but also would like to avoid big dealer prices

    thanks

Didn't even know there was such a thing as a knock-off FQV. I would not recommend any Chinese parts in a DD15 fuel system.

yeah I agree, any ideas where you can get a genuine Bosch from? Dealer wants $1100 but I see people online advertising genuine Bosch for $400ish, just not sure if I trust them....

Last time I bought one it was $750. The ones on Amazon now for less than $400 do look real and I'd probably chance it. Just make sure the part number matches. And make sure it's a new part, not a reman.

Eleven hundred dollars? Jeeze! Last time I bought an entire pump it was $1250 and it came with a new FQV.

No but I will share this. Had a 9400 IHC N14 leaking oil at the sending unit. Nothing else was wrong. Bought one off Amazon for forty bucks. It worked about a day. Then the readings were totally incorrect.
Purchased one from the dealer for about $200. It still works fine.

Seen that with with more than a couple aftermarket sensors. I don't buy aftermarket sensors anymore.

    JB7 Thanks this.
