So you are deaf and can't read lips. YOU don't inform the officers. But expect them to be mind readers. Anyone with this disability. With common sense. Carries a card stating as much. They then give it to the officers along with their license. SMH The guy is an idiot.

The officers were informed by the suspect 30 seconds into the exchange that he was deaf. They completely ignored that information and continued to play hard axx cop through the entire time, even at the hospital, who also did nothing to intervene. And in that little town, the cops are always right, the rest of the system stomped him just as badly.
I hope they get sued for $millionsgentleroger, nikmirbre, mjd4277 and 5 others Thank this. -
He will get paid.
While he could have kept some distance from the officers, they were ready to party before getting out of the car.mjd4277, Studebaker Hawk, TheLoadOut and 1 other person Thank this. -
The male cop Nicholas Hanning was eventually fired for tasing a 75 year old man. The female cop Ellie Summers somehow still has her job. 2 idiots. I hope Brady Mistic wins big $$$$

If this goes to trial by jury (which it more than likely will in the federal judicial system)the police department is going to get their ***** raked over the coals!!
Juries tend to be sympathetic towards those with disabilities. Especially those who are deaf! And if the hospital didn’t assist him with a interpreter either their nuts are going to be in a sling as well,as they’re bound by the ADA Act and the hospital workers’ hippocratic oath!
I wouldn’t be surprised if the police department gets investigated by both the Feds and the police department’s IA(Internal Affairs)division after this!Last edited: Oct 1, 2021
