You weren’t invited?? Nobody need your invitation and you dont own this industry. I notice a lot of jealousy from those who been doing it for awhile to new guys. As if you was born to do it. Nobody cares if your feelings gets hurt. Dont like current situation? Quit and go do something else. Again- new guys dont need your permission. Now i understand people acting unprofessionally but ive heard this “new people don’t belong in car hauling business” from older car haulers so many times.. guess what? New people are coming you like it or not.

As an old hand, I have no problem with new blood. I have a major problem with the new blood who not only has new clue how to haul cars, but have zero desire to learn the right way.

They act like their God's gift to carhaul because "I'm fast as ####, boi!" Yeah, they're not legally strapped, the windows are down on every unit, the load is well over 15' and the back bottom unit is in the next zipcode. Oh, and inspection involves more than walking up and making the baytag is the right VIN.

Customers having to deal with those ######## is making life tougher for everyone. And few things are more aggravating than jumping thru hoops that are only there because of lazy fools who barely qualify as "guys who haul cars" and wouldn't know a real carhauler if one walked up and properly kicked them in the ###.

This is the problem with this world. People like yourself interpret, read into and or assume someone’s words into a self absorbed rant.

No where in what I said had anything to do with “new people shouldn’t come into this industry.” My bi^ch isn’t that new people are coming in. No. My issue is with the ones who haven’t a clue about what they’re doing and worse yet don’t care about what they’re doing and have zero regards for anyone else.

The reality of the situation is that those same people will find the exit door as easy as they found the entrance because that’s how their entire life is ran. Here today gone tomorrow.

I can only imagine that I struck such a nerve with you because you’re one of those I speak about, maybe not, but regardless of where you land on the wheel of experience, have some consideration when your out there “doing your thing.”

Yikes!!! Is over-hang accidents the most common in car hauling?

In truckstops, I'm sure it is. I'm sure you've seen these high-speed mofos run within a foot of the radiators of a row of parked trucks? Well, they don't look up.

I'm very particular about where i park loaded, but I've been hit twice while empty with the rack maybe a foot out from the grille. Both idjits got me with driver's side tail swing.

This is a very sad representation of what I'm speaking about in this business today. No self-respecting professional would have ever put that box truck on that load, and look what happens! People are so desperate for a dollar that they'll take all the chances in the world and for what? The damage he did cost him the ENTIRE load, and more I'm sure. Money makes people do really stupid things.

Hammer I'm the same way about the dang Truck Stops and if I can't park in such a way that my load is protected, I just don't park. I trust no one. And if someone does hit you and you're not there at the time, they're going to run like the wind and leave you sitting with the entire bill.

It's so bad that I've gotten to where i leave my dash cam on at night. Even if i think I'm in a protected spot.
