Well I'm glad they finally got it done, but from driving past it looks like there are less total truck parking spaces than there were b4.

also... i have only seen it finished 2 times and both times i was goin north, and i noticed in the truck parkin area they have these things at each stall.. look like a vacume perhaps? anyone els seen these? or know what they are?

    haha... found it!

    ""
The new Delaware Welcome Center has been built to LEED (Leadership in Energy and Environmental Design) standards. It incorporates a number of energy and water conservation features along with the use of recycled and regional building materials. Sunoco’s 21-pump fuel campus with an A-Plus Convenience Store is located on the northern end of the complex. At capacity, 40 cars will be able to fuel up at the same time. Fifty spaces of CabAire truck parking offering anti-idle truck electrification outlets are located on the southern end of the property.""

Would have to figure, the reason it made the news was because it had something to do with environmental, lefty-liberal stuff. Which can't be good for truckers. I wouldn't be surprised if they eliminated truck parking altogether to get rid of the fumes.

I would not be surprised either if someone in the Delaware state government is thinking along those lines BUT if they trully make inroads towards that goal, I am hoping that the trucking lobby comes into play and focuses on road safety, sleep and rest stops for drivers. Four-wheelers should not get ALL the perks of the road.
