Ok wondering if anyone can help on this issue., Currently having boost issues with the C15 accert SDP. Engine was deleted by previous owners, also converted to a single turbo aswell. i have currently had 4 different turbos on this truck and since day 1 have had boost issues. i cant seem to get more then 27 or so psi. I can randomly get up wards of 37ish once in a blue moon.
Am currently on my 3rd tune program and not a single thing has changed. There are no leaks on the system have tested it several times. have even replaced the Air to air.
Couple suggestions mechanics have given me is the single turbo isnt working go back to the twins. and the turbo isnt big enough need a bigger turbo.
Currently have a brand new Borg warner 550 HP turbo, Tune is probably pushing 800Hp at the fly wheel.
Getting pretty desperate as i think this is killing my fuel mileage im lucky to get 4.5 MPG and having my EGTs climb to fast. Not to mention droping gears constantly on hills even when light.
Have had truck on the dyno and it was pushing 600Hp to the wheels but couldnt get more then 27 PSI and the EGTs climbing to fast
Thanks in advance

Stock twins will support that HP level call Richard at Antrim diesel
Cat sdp Thanks this. -
That is stuff we are not supposed about here. Could be the reason the previous owner sold it?
Likely the program and delete have a fault. You would probably need to go back to the programmer and or find a new one. Put everything back as original?
I ran across something like that in a 1 ton pick up. Called a place that did a lot of work on those. Told me the EPA decided the way to enforce this was to go after the programmers. Fined one a million dollars. We do not do those any more.
When you call folks that do and or did that type work. You will find yourself standing at the door knocking. If anyone hears my voice and opens the door. You will find yourself desperately looking for help. I had one with a bad ECM and was like that.
600 wheel HP and steady dropping gears when light. That does not add up. -
sounds more fuel related

Nothing adds up, forgot 2 mention I've had 2 different ecms on the truck lol new engine harness as well as new injector harnesses added. -
try a new fuel pump or regulator

600 at the wheels is probably around 700-725 at the crank. Would a turbo rated at 550 be able to move enough air to support that?
lester Thanks this. -
The stock twins will......
little cat 500 Thanks this. -
The info on what turbo your running is lacking. A CAT part number, Borg Warner part number, or exhaust housing AR and wheel sizes would help tremendously.
