For those of you who use one of the above, which one and why? I know these products have been discussed in other threads, but some of the info is dated, and/or the thread got side tracked.
Thanks.
Delorme or MS?

Well I'm not driving a truck...
But from what I've seen.
I like the Maps in ST Better.
I like the GPS Integration in Delorme. -
DeLorme for the routing options.
MS makes you put in stops when you don't want to use their routing. DeLorme let's you use a VIA command to use the roads you want to.
DeLorme has a problem with not having some roads on their maps. Up in WI, there are entire sections that aren't there.
Just another reason to not rely on GPS for your primary decision making. I use it primarily for distance and time and to see how far it is to my next turn.
Still have the truckers atlas right next to me. -
The Atlas will still be my primary tool. I wasn't even sure I was going to get either the MS or Delorme product, but my brother gave me his copy of S&T. He's does a lot of traveling bu car, and thought he'd use his laptop. Now he's decided to just get a stand alone GPS unit.
I tried out the S&T for routing in my pick up, to a couple of locations about 2 hours away. It did fine, but I have to keep the map screen set so it always shows north towards the top of the screen. I'm so used to using maps that way that I couldn't get orientated having the map turn to show direction of travel towards the top of the screen. Nothing like being hi tech savvy -
Delorme here.
Options and functions the reason.
It also uses a differant set of rules (programming) for route calculation, so it differs from S&T a bit.
