I was at Moore Transport for 7 1/2 yrs until they closed their doors and sold us out to Jack Cooper 8/2023.
I took a detour from trucking until now and for the time being, let's just say I need to drive a little longer.
I've loaded beside both companies many times at the port of Dundalk in Baltimore. I live in N Ohio W of Cleveland and while at Moore I mostly ran the same lanes every week starting on Sunday morning and finishing up usually by noon on Thursday. It was a great job most of the time.

I have about 3 wks left of a medical procedure before I can enter orientation. Do any of you drivers know anything about either company? Do you or have you driven for either of them? Good or bad experience?

I have 38 yrs total and about 14 yrs car hauling with an unblemished safety record to recommend me.

Thanks drivers and be safe out there!

Check out Waddle, too. FB friend lives in Ohio somewhere and is very happy there.

I almost went to Virginia ended up with Fine Line instead. I think Bob drove for Virginia at one time, so did Jeff. @carhaulerjeff

Unfortunately I don’t have any firsthand information about either company he mentioned.

if you want your hand held and to be treated like a child then VTC is the place to go. Delta would have been a good choice a few years ago but since the big merger with precision tribeca and delta i would stay away. waddle in my opinion is just VTC 2.0. i love Fine Line but so guys don’t wanna run NY or long island. but living in ohio we have several lanes up ther you could run. ohio to alabama lane or regional out of lordstown rail and some east west michigan to pa and back that way. top notch equipment here and i like that nobody bothers me here i’m left alone to do my job

I had Waddle on my short list if I come back out car hauling. Currently not getting any miles where I'm at might have to make a move soon.

I’ve been with Virginia over 10 years and have no complaints. I’m compensated very well and have never been in a truck over 3 years old. With you living in Ohio, you could benefit from working out of our Marysville terminal running toward Buffalo and back.
