[QUOTE="GolfPro, post: 5651041, member: 174376"]Well, I spent some time re-reading this whole thread. I remembered some things I had forgotten, and I'm pleased I wrote everything exactly as it happened to the best of my memory with no intentional embellishments positive or negative. It's called tendinosis, and I got this from a website: " Tendinosis is an accumulation over time of microscopic tendon injuries that don't heal properly. Although inflammation can be involved in the initial stages of the injury, it is the inability of the tendon to heal that perpetuates the pain and disability." Doctor gave me three options: do nothing and probably not get better; get shots; get surgery.

I am leaning towards surgery as I don't want to live like this for the rest of my life - I can no longer run or play golf, and certainly couldn't climb to the top of a tank. I'm actually regaining my interest in a trucking career, but I'm not sure if my many months away is rendering me unemployable or would force me to go through a company training program where I'd have to "repay" them.

I want to again thank most everyone here who has weighed in, and recognize you've been most supportive.
