How is that a Volvo in disguise the 460 was all Mack ran a 2003 460xt with 18speed and it was a great truck and still on the road today pulling dump trailer grossing 100,000 for 13 years and still no rebuild on motor!
Straight Stacks Thanks this. -
I'd be looking behind dash panels, and at wiring harnesses.
Lots of "too good to be true" trucks have water/flood issues that aren't brought to light Til you run them some. Nothing outwardly visible, but plenty of corrosion behind dash/at wiring harnesses.
Does seem low on the price.
I have yet to see a dealer get a great deal on great equipment and pass that thru on a retail sale to a stranger. Spose it's possible. -
That ture it cheap for a reason and coming from a dealer.

definitely look at cab mounts. they seem to rust out on them. mack paint never seems to last on frames. after a year our straight trucks has mostly peeled off on frames. mack are usually good for a cam around 750,000.
-
The hours vs. the mileage (km) seem awfully high. I have a truck with a bit over 1,000,000 miles that has 35,000 hours.

@Brettj3876
Did you guy the Mack? -
no my dad found a 1993 in way better shape with 790k and way less rust. e7 350 9 over with 3.91s and a 63in mid roof. Way better deal and more of a mack than that vision
taxihacker66 Thanks this.
