Hi guys, any of you out there remeber if McCain Foods had their own private fleet 25 years ago?
I know I remember seeing their trucks back around 2001, but I can't find any pictures of their trucks on the road from 25 years ago, however I know they had them, just wondering if anyone knows anything about their private fleet at the time.

    Thanks all for your memories.

4mer trucker and Carpenter Scotty Thank this.

Yea they did. My dad worked for them back before i was born, think it was the late 60s early 70s shortly after they came to the U.S.

He had a picture of him and mom infront of one of the trucks kissing that a coworker took as a gag on the walls forever when i was a kid. Was their logo on the truck door but a blank trailer. No idea what happened to that photo ill ask and see if he has it someplace.

I grew up in that neck of the woods, I know that they had branded trailers, but they own day and Ross out of Hartland New Brunswick , have since the mid sixties I believe. They also used to sell a lot of frozen concentrated juices as well, probably became the return loads after potato deliveries perhaps. Can’t say as far as the trucks though

They did 7-11 store deliveries .
    Cabover tractors
Reefers in the front dry goods on the tail
Had a funky little left ramp that folded out on the side for reefer freight.
Hanks truck page had pictures back in the day.
