Did someone say automted trucks?

    I would like to think that human life would be the ultimate priority(pedestrians have the right of way and all that) but sad to say, you're probably right.

    Tesla “Autopilot” is not a level 5 autonomous car. It’s only a level 3. The driver is still required to pay attention to the road and have his hands on the wheel (at least with the Tesla Autopilot).

    If you're a steering wheel-holder, your days are numbered by automated trucks. Alot of dedicated, private fleet, LTL linehaul, USPS, UPS/FedEx, Amazon, etc....anything that goes point-to-point from DC to DC or DC/Store or terminal-to-terminal etc will be the first to go. That will be in the next 10-15 years many of those jobs will outright disappear. Also, alot of coast-to-coast OTR team freight.

    It will be alot longer before most other driving jobs are fully automated, but that day is coming. Just not in most of our lifetimes.
