Diesel Shortage?

If they stopped producing diesel fuel completely there would be 25 days left. Diesel is still being produced. Just MSM trying to fearmonger (like usual).

 

What AModel said...I hauled fuel for many years, we only had a few days supply on hand at the refinery at any one time. I would suspect on Nov 9th , it will be all good again!!

All that stuff looks like government’s speculation to tell us: “well, that’s why prices are higher…”
But I don’t think they will stop whole economic like that…. Who knows…

 

Refinery’s produce diesel fuel every day. It does not sit in storage for any discernible length of time, it is put into pipelines to go to distribution terminals all over the country.

 

Refinery production can only produce at their max production. If demand is more than output, a shortage occurs and is corrected by a price hike. This price hike corrects the shortage. None of us like it. But that’s the way it rolls. High energy prices tax the economy just like interest rates do.
