Yes it is. O/O has two options new truck every 3-4 years to trade it before warranty expired or keep one to the ground.

Depends on your definition of comfortable. My old man bought a new truck every 5 years. Home every night, raised a family of 4 no problem off its income and afforded to keep the truck in tip-top shape. On average maybe lost a day or 2 a year due to breakdowns.

In those days, You could do that- under 100k for new without many options.....I Never had New- BUT, The Older stuff (Which im sure you've worked on) was a pleasure. You could actually get a bigger job done in 1 day

Yea an the banker needs to make money. But you know everyone has a different way. Some have a wife ( or be PC "partner" ) nah i will stick with wife who helps bring home the bacon. At least the guys i know that trade every time their drive tires are wore out. Oh, and they run, probably afraid that if they are not pulling their weight, the wife may kick up a fuss.

    yeah,Everyone is different,

I like to walk to the shop at the truckstops and pay attention to those Rich guys getting new tires with 10/32nds left on their tires...I'll offer them $25 dollar more per tire to sell them to me directly as opposed to trades.......

I get the 'confused' look on their faces- Worked for me just a few times....
