Did you take the road test with auto or manual transmission?

With a manual truck and 53' trailer, went to united truck driving school here in Tennessee.

The M restriction means the driver possesses a Class A CDL but obtains his or her passenger or school bus endorsement in a Class B vehicle. This means the driver will get the “Mrestriction so that they are only allowed to operate a Class B or Class C passenger vehicle or school bus.Nov 10, 2017

I'm assuming this is for all states?

Do All States Have The Same Restrictions?
No, not all states have the same restrictions. The restrictions I outlined above are the most common restrictions for each state but you will find that some states may have a few more restrictions.

I read a little further.... seems restrictions can vary from state to state? Seems odd restrictions would not be standardized for all 50 states for a CDL A.

What type of vehicle did you take the test in? Without knowing that it's impossible to say if it's a messup. It could simply be based on the vehicle tested in.

So you can still drive a class B with passengers just not a class a with passengers, correct. And you passed you test on taking breaks, now you can park on the fuel islands.
