Do any companies or schools administer their own CDL tests?

    So a third-party tester would be someone a company hires out to do the testing? It wouldn't be an actual employee of the company, right? Third-party would be someone other than the state and other than the company?

    in texas TDI has in house employees that are testers... but what the term third party means I dont know ... but I know the boss at TDI Dallas (Lancaster) is the tester

    Third party in a sense, someone authorized by the state to conduct state business. In this case it would be CDL testing.
