Here's one for all the owner operators out there. Doing some research on how small carriers get evaluated by brokers and this seemed like a good place to start.
The part I can't get a clear picture of: when a broker passes you, does anybody actually tell you why? Or do you just stop hearing back and have to figure it out yourself?
And when there's no straight answer, what do you usually figure it was? New MC, no inspections, insurance, something else?
Tryna get a read from the folks who live this stuff. War stories welcome!
Do brokers tell you why when they turn you down?
