Do hot shot company drivers pay their own hotel rooms

    I'm not promoting Woodhouse. I was assuming he was referring to "sleepers" as any kind of alteration. I'm 6'2". The few extra inches would be nice. But I could always take inner panels and guts out of the doors and save the 2+g's

    Twin mattress will fit in after you take out backseat, passenger seat and the console. Run it front to back. After our son joined the military I snatched it. Now the only time I use motel is if’s very hot or very cold.

    I think DOT still has a say, on what makes a sleeper legal. You may well show off duty. But when the right one checks you. Going to hard to prove to him or her. That you were in the sleeper birth for the amount of hours you need.
    I think a sleeper has to be 75" across. It has to have vents.
