I’ve got 2 years experience in beer distribution. I want to move on, but pretty discouraged with my record. I’ve messed up.
Do I even have a chance at a union or ltl company?

Transporting drugs and 19 mph over the speed limit? You may be slinging those beer cases for a few more years. Keep your record clean for three years and then you may be ok.
Then again you could just be trolling.alds, Geekonthestreet, 88 Alpha and 4 others Thank this. -
If you cant do the time don't do the crime
Flat Earth Trucker, JoeyJunk and Magoo1968 Thank this. -
19 mph over the speed limit is the problem.
15 mph and over is reckless driving in the trucking world.
3 - 5 year wait on that one before can be hired by a trucking company. Maybe never with a union LTL outfit. -
Most won’t insure you with a 15 over if you’re currently employed I’d stay there until economic conditions change
homeskillet, JoeyJunk and Winwin31 Thank this. -
Yeah, that record looks pretty bad. I'm not sure even Western Express would give you a chance with that record, and they'll hire just about anyone with a pulse and a CDL. Much less chance for a company worth working for. As much as it sucks, your probably best staying put for a couple more years till those all go away. Just my opinion though. I don't know.

If Chinatown shuts you down...BigRedSA, CastleNut, bryan21384 and 5 others Thank this. -
You may have a chance in the oilfield, 1099 job. Buy yourself an older twin screw w/sleeper, a water hauler in the making.
CastleNut Thanks this. -
Or maybe a regular 9-5 job for a couple years?

CastleNut Thanks this.
