If I'm reading that right, your FSC should be $0.125, right?

-
No, because you have to show officers that you were off duty previous 7 days.

I’m thinking that our operation should keep logs regardless of the air miles to be on the safe side. Can they be paper logs? I’m thinking they can’t per the new eld mandates? T.I.V.

I will answer this for you. Over 26k, or a trailer capable of 10,000 gvw you must have records of duty. Because a trailer capable of 10,000 require a cdl class A.
In a 100 hundred mile radius you can run a time card only good for 12 hours. If you exceed 12 you must log on a logbook/eld even inside the 100. 100 air miles are seen as 118 driven.
You can use 8 days inside of any 30days, not calendar 30 outside of the 100 miles on a logbook in a eld required power unit. Day 9 you need eld. If your in a pre eld power unit, you just use paper logbook.
I run a time card 90% of my business and use a log book outside of 100 mile radius in a exempt truck.singlescrewshaker and J.S. Thank this. -
One minor point @jamespmack . All cmv's need to log. So everything over 10,000 pounds gvwr.
Of course logging includes all the exemptions mentioned.singlescrewshaker, Bean Jr. and jamespmack Thank this. -
Sorry if I wasn't clear. Yes.singlescrewshaker, Bean Jr. and ZVar Thank this.
